A service provider for over 20 years, growing and evolving over time. As a generator should. I've let the flux of the tide become my loom, weaving a new visage for my craft with each tide's new whisper.
I move in my practice with wisdom that is deeply intertwined with, and created from, the fabric of the Earth itself. It's how all elements of nature, the land, the cycles, the life forms are connected, and the wisdom arises from understanding and respecting that interconnected web.
Our wisdom is not something we learn; it is something we uncover. Our wisdom sits deep within. As we learn to listen, we uncover what our deep roots already know.
Butterfly teachings:
When I was 11, not only did I experience some shifts that were heavy in life. I also met an elder at a gathering. She gave me a butterfly medalion she made of clay. Her words are embedded in my mind over the years of my life. She told me I would learn great wisdom from the butterfly. I asked what she meant, she smiled and stated You will learn. I was very confused, but knowing it had great meaning never forgot this.
What did I learn thus far from the butterfly?
Life is not a linear path; we will move back into the cocoon stage with every pass of evolution we encounter. This means to me that every time we experience hardships, a need for growth or change, every time we grow, we need to move back to the cocoon to take pause to heal, to reflect. We must review what is working, what is not working, and we must look within to our mistakes and how we can correct them for the next phase in our lives.
It has also shown to me that while the buffalo will head into the storm and face it head-on so it can make it through and not prolong the suffering, the butterfly, when in flight, avoids certain storms; they do this to avoid being caught in their predator's eyes. Not all storms are theirs to encounter, just as not all storms our ours to withstand.
How I work with you.
I empower clients to achieve total wellness through integrated naturopathic and coaching sessions, addressing the interconnectedness of life, spirituality, and health. My meditations, cacao, and hape ceremonies, offered in both individual and group settings, are designed to facilitate profound personal growth.
My mixed Mi'kmaq heritage informs my practice, allowing me to offer traditionally guided shamanic healings, journeys, and hape ceremonies with respect and integrity. (It is important to note, I am a traditionally trained practitioner, not a shaman.)
I specialize in creating transformative individual healing retreats, tailored to address specific challenges and intentions. These retreats, which can incorporate plant medicine if desired, provide a safe and supportive space for deep healing and lasting change. I have seen clients achieve incredible results in areas such as relationship dynamics, food relationships, and trauma processing. Couples and group retreats are also offered, with the assistance of a trusted partner. I work with the client to create a retreat that is flexible and allows for the organic unfolding of healing. The results achieved through these immersive experiences are consistently profound, with lasting integration extending far beyond the retreat itself.
