Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), often referred to as "tapping," is a form of alternative therapy based on the principles of Chinese medicine's meridian system and modern psychology. The Power of Healing Through Touch Therapy

Touch therapy includes various techniques aimed at reducing tension, relieving pain, and enhancing relaxation. Modalities I use are cupping, myofascial release, and craniosacral therapy (CST). NOT OFFERED AS INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS. These aspects are only included in a wellness plan intergrated with in sessions.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy, an ancient technique that dates back thousands of years, uses suction cups to draw blood to the surface of the skin. This method helps improve circulation, relieve tension, and stimulate energy flow, often referred to as qi. Furthermore, it lifts the bound fascia, allowing space within the restricted tissue. This space allows more than blood to find its flow in the area in need. This space and reintroduction of fluid flowing as it is meant to reduce the restriction within the fascia, creating a beautiful release.

After just one session, you might notice significant changes. The method I primarily use is gliding and pulsing. There can be redness left behind that fades over the day. However, if I feel stationary is needed within a restricted area, the cups may leave temporary marks on the skin that appear like a hug from an octopus. 


Myofascial Release

For those struggling with chronic pain or tension, myofascial release could provide significant relief. By focusing on the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, organs, bones, pretty much every part of your body's inner self. This hands-on technique promotes relaxation and restores mobility. This gentle approach helps the body return to its natural state, providing both immediate and long-term benefits.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

Craniosacral therapy focuses on the craniosacral system, the protective membranes, and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spine. Practitioners utilize light touch to assess and improve this system's function, encouraging profound relaxation and tension reduction. A technique that is slow, intentional, and patient, there are holds that I may have to sit with before your body rests enough to allow me to sink in and feel your CST rhythm. Once this is accomplished, I can then feel restrictions and invite them to self-correct.
