Spirit Speaks in a Whisper. Are you Listening?

Spirit Speaks in a Whisper. Are you Listening?

Spirit rarely shouts; it whispers.

But how do we hear a whisper in a world full of noise?

Awareness is the bridge between the Divine and us, but that bridge weakens when we are tired, hungry, or depleted. When we don't advocate for our own rest, we miss the vital messages hidden in our surroundings, the warnings to turn back, the nudge to speak up, or the quiet "no" in our gut.

The truth is, awareness is a skill, and it’s one we struggle with when we are running on empty. When we neglect our basic needs, adequate rest, real nourishment, and self-care, our "inner ears" become muffled.

When we aren't advocates for our own bodies, we lose the ability to: Hear the nudge to go a different way. See the warning signs in our surroundings. Feel when something is "off," whether it’s a person, a place, or even the food we buy.

We often ask for "a sign," but the signs are already here. They are in the "off" feeling you get on a certain street or the sudden instinct to stay silent. The problem? We aren't at our best. If you aren't getting enough sleep or nourishing your body, your awareness stays dull.

You can’t hear the whisper of Spirit if your brain is foggy from burnout. Advocating for your needs is a spiritual practice. When you meet your own needs, you sharpen your senses. You start to notice the "little things" again. You become aware of the warnings and the wisdom that the world is constantly trying to give you.Awareness isn't just a spiritual gift; it's a physical requirement.

To hear the whisper of Spirit and the messages of the Land, we must first honor the vessel.

Are you advocating for your needs today?

Silence the noise so you can hear the truth.
